The Ontario Camelids Association is the only organization representing both, the Ontario Llama and Alpaca Industry. Since our inception in 1991 our association has grown to include some 50 members. Our membership encompasses llama and alpaca enthusiasts from all walks of life, from those just beginning their adventure, to those with many years of experience. We have a wealth of knowledge among our membership, shared with those new to the business.
We sponsor educational seminars as well as social gatherings, llama hikes, publish an informative newsletter, and a promotional brochure, and offer a variety of books and videos in our library.
OCA members actively promote llamas and alpacas via educational displays at major fairs and agricultural events throughout Ontario. Our displays feature videos, fiber samples, and end products, information pamphlets, and of course, those wonderful llamas and alpacas.
